Hello everyone. I received this plant as a 'bleeding heart' but realized right away it wasn't. IT is now about 4 ft. tall, leafs are purple underside, and flowers are star shaped in these star burst. I appreciate any help. Happy gardeing!

It looks like the purple stemmed ixora. Google it and you should see pictures with the flowers open so you can be sure. Hope this helps.

I believe you have a Clerodendrum Quadriloculare "Starburst". Google it and see if that would be your plant. Bleeding hearts are Clerodendrums Tomsoniae.
