I acquired the Rhody in a trade and don't know the name of it. That's not too important to me. It looks good. That's important.
It looks really happy there.
I have a red one, it's called Nova Zemba or Zembla. Maybe that's it.
My Northern White Lights Deciduous Azaleas which I planted this year:
(loamy clay) mulched now.
They look real healthy! I envy all the new space you have, especially next to the house. Mine is all filled up. I guess it's time to do a foundation rehab for me.
Here's a picture of some deciduous Azaleas in my garden. I choose them not only for their blossom, but their Fall color too.
I'd like to walk around your place. It must be like feeling you're in a forest garden. I like those choice of colors!
So far so good on my herbicide mistake. It's been raining heavy today again. It might just flush out of the way. I'd guess 4" in 3 days of rain and I'm on the sixth day of having sprayed that stuff.
Have a great fall!
