Hummingbird moth and lantana

This unusual little guy was buzzing around my lantana a few days ago. He looked and acted so much like a little hummingbird. I have since found out he is a hummingbird moth.

As a kid we would call these "bumble flys" because they looked like a cross between a bumble bee (it was yellowish) and butter fly.
