Hibiscus flowers

I really like these huge, beautiful flowers - I just wish they lasted longer.

The hibiscus plant is the last perennial to appear in the garden each year - it typically doesn't even poke through the ground until early June. Once it does, though, it grows quickly.

I WANT some of those HUGE flowers, but my plant continues to flounder! Not fair!
