Part of my recuperation!!!

I have been quite ill the last few weeks...and i have not felt like posting. The doctor says that as part of my therapy I should keep walking. So i got out my season ticket and went down to Ness botanic gardens on the Wirral. This is one of the first things I encountered, a hardy geranium. Now i must get one like this for the garden. I went yesterday so it is producing a lot of late colour.

My wife liked this one so much that last night she told me to print it on glossy paper and she has made it into a birthday card.

The geranium is gorgeous.

Well I enjoyed the stroll around Ness and for weeks before walking has been difficult.Being a keen hill walker I was somewhat surprised when i started getting chest pains when climbing. It reached a climax at the school where I teach where they had to call for paramedics after i had an attack while carrying equipment. Fortunately it was not a heart attack but i am in a sort of limbo where they are investigating whether I have angina. So I am on sick leave with orders to keep walking and gardening, but nothing too strenuous.
