These are Japanese Maples I planted from seed just over 25 years ago. They were selected for Fall color.
what's the red maple on the left? Is it oskazuki?
Great color choice.
It's a seedling. Almost all of my Japanese Maples are seedlings from seeds I collected from a Japanese Maple collection years ago. I raised a lot of seedlings and selected the best to grow on. Now I am getting seeds from the seedling trees and selecting them for good traits also.
It's a cheap way to go because I'm not a collector, nor am I growing these for sale.......and I had the time.
Fantastic view you have created ! I love the view point in your second photo too. Your contrasting foliage and color combinations are amazing. Thanks for sharing !
the colors of your foliage are really stunning.. good for photography ;-)
