Afternoon light

I took this picture a few weeks ago and am liking it better and better. The Fall rains haven't filled up the ponds yet. It was a dry summer, as usual here in Seattle.

Absolutely beautiful. What are some of the trees that surround that area? Angie

Wonderful picture of your beautiful garden! Washington is such a beautiful state! I lived there for 15 years and then my family moved to California.

The trees are Japanese Maples, Blue China Fir, Alaska Cedar, and way in the back is Black Bamboo.

I went to your website and saw some of your pictures. I bookmarked to go back later and look at the rest. If there is a paradise on earth you live in it. Absolutely stunning. What joy it is just to look at your pictures. I live in Illinois so I am sure a lot of your trees would not grow here but your place has give me inspiration to plant some J. maples and conifers this spring. Thanks, Angie
