help identifying please

someone identified this plant for me before, was my moms. could you tell me what it is again. believe some kind of ivy. please excuse the dust it needs a bath lol.

SHAME on you, all that nasty dust! Just kidding, lol. I thought that dust was just normal 'patina'.

Pirate Girl is absolutely right...Cissus rhombifolia, to be exact. It's common name, Grape Ivy, is very fitting since it belongs to the same plant family as grapes, Vitaceae.

It used to be very popular as a house plant, then became hard to find all of a sudden. You're lucky to have such a nice specimen. Be careful with it, it will take over your curtain rod. Heaven help you if you let it get into the shutters or blinds, lol.

Thanks Rhizo, I haven't seen this in a LONG time.

Someone I worked w/ had some of this strung like Pothos on his office walls. Had a few nails in the walls & threaded this all over the room, was pretty memorable!
