Hi!! Just checking in.

tifflj(6 Pitts, PA)January 28, 2013

Stopping by to say hi to all my GW friends. Nothing new in my plant world. Everyonr is growing and doing rather well. I branched out to orchids. Bought a mini orchid at HD the other day as space is at a minimum these days. My husband bought me one for Valentines Day a few years back and I did well with it, left it at work when I left that job. Ggrr.

Hope all is well with everyone!! Any orchid advice you can pass along would be greatly appreciated!!

Not sure if you know this Tiff, but GW does have an Orchid Forum, there will be lots for you to read over there. I've learned a lot just lurking there, as I rarely had Orchids to discuss, but that's where I learned to use cinnamon as an anti-fungal. Happy reading & enjoy your orchids.

Hey, girl, good to hear from you! I admire your bravery on the orchid. With the great advice I know is available on GW, the actual caring for it is no longer intimidating to me, but I have yet to see one that looks like it could make the trip home. They just look SOOOO fragile and delicate. I'd say the hard part's over for you, especially since you were already NOT killing the one you had before. Good luck!
