Howdy,

Marguerite, Ledbouria's are one of the prettiest and most interesting bulb plants..

Your Led is doing great, not to mention flowering.

I didn't see your first pic, so can't compare, but this guy is doing great..

Thanks, purple. You can see on the right of this pic that some flowers are more open than others, but they never really open very wide.

The first picture is on the same page as this one, Toni, a few posts down, the question re. L. pauciflora. No, it's not new, I have this plant years. About three years ago at the time of the sudden November snow I wasn't in time to move it in and lost a lot of it, but a cousin to whom I had given some bulbs was able to boost my family up a bit with some of hers. I think the name L. socialis is very apt, because somehow they all look like they're at a party.
