Japanese Painted Fern as Houseplant?

jpw_chi(5b Chicago, IL)January 14, 2011

Anyone tried a japanese painted fern (A. niponicum 'Pictum') as a houseplant? How'd it go? Any problems?

Just curious... and a little tempted.

Thanks!

I do not think it will work. If it was one of the evergreen ferns I think it would work. It may need a rest period to survive.
