Potato: Normal death or disease?
Second year growing potatoes. But last year, my dog dug up my potato plants and killed them, so I didn't get any experience from them.
This year, I got plenty of green foliage. I went on vacation for a couple of weeks, so I set up a drip irrigation system to keep them watered. When I came back I noticed that the leaves had curled up and there was some browning to them.
I'm wondering if this is normal or if they have contracted some disease. You can see the browning in the upper right corner of the picture:
Are they diseased? If so, can I still harvest the taters or are they a loss?
Any advice/info/help is greatly appreciated!
