Sulfur before or after oils

Slimy_Okra(2b)July 30, 2014

Treating plants with oils (such as neem oil) and dusting them with sulfur within a few weeks of each other is apparently a big no-no, due to the chance of phytoxicity. Does anyone know exactly what kind of reaction takes place between the two or why it is phytotoxic? TIA

Nope. I just take their word for it and don't attempt it. I've read one month between the 2, but many times I've read 2 months.
