Explain PHI (pre Harvest Interval) with Triazicide
For those of you non organic gardeners.
I have a question about the pre harvert interval listed for Triazicide Once & done.
Apples and sweet corn are 21 days.
Lettuce and Broccoli are 1 day.
What is the explanation for this?
I mean, the lettuce & broccoli are hard to wash beyond a rinse off, so we'll be ingesting some pesticide with the salad.
But the apples are easier to wash off, & the corn gets husked.
so the PHI doesn't seem to be about health of the consumer.
Can someone shed a little light on this?
