Hello everyone "
I have a Schefflera Amate that I keep in a well-lit room. It seems to be doing fine and is even sprouting some new leaves, but I’m wondering if it needs to be repotted. As you can see in the attached picture, the roots seem to have become exposed at the base. Also, there are roots that are coming out of the bottom of the pot.
I have had the plant for about 14 months and have not changed the soil or pot in that time. Is it time for this plant to be repotted? I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to caring for houseplants, so any recommendations for how to repot it would be appreciated (e.g., what type of soil to use? Do I need a bigger pot?).
Thanks for the help!
