Walmart Kindle Book

marguerite_gwApril 27, 2013

I read lots of posts here mentioning Walmart, which I take it is a large supermarket chain akin to our Dunne's or Superquinn etc.. I don't know if many of you have a Kindle e-reader, but I came across a fascinating and very well-written book last night which was free to download called 'Suspicious Plants at Walmart'. It's by someone called Ron Bergeron, in case anyone is interested. I haven't finished it all yet, but it's about plants coming into a California Walmart from all over the world which are not inspected for pests. Has anyone else seen this book? I got it on, but it is probably available on as well. As good as any detective story, in the context of all the posts here about pests, it really got me thinking..

I haven't read the book, but I'm not at all surprised if Walmart is doing something shady.
