parthenocarpic cucumbers

How do I know if my cucumbers will produce without pollination? Are all burpless cucumbers parthenocarpic?

I usually have a problem with cucumber beetles so this year I am growing them under cover and I need to know if they will produce cucumbers. I have Japanese Soyu Burpless from Botanical Interests and Burpee Sweet Burpless Hybrid. They are flowering now and I am afraid to uncover and not uncover. Help quick

No. not many of the popular burpless types are parthenocarpic. You can always look up the specs on your partcicular cultivar when you buy seeds. The two you listed are not, you may want to consider some hand pollination or removing the covers when they are in full bloom. The Sweet Burpless will have a high ratio of female to male blooms.
