Someone close to me sent me some photos today of her mom's orchids in her yard in the Philippines, and I was amazed...Hope you are also.
Here is one...
Guess I'll post this on the Orchid forum then...
Sorry, those are beautiful orchids
Wow, great to see them growing outdoors, and in trees, as they should be!
Orchids are one genera I have not done much with. I have only failed to save a rescued mini Phal.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, indeed the Philippines has ideal growing conditions for many orchids, and many are native to the islands. I love seeing them growing on the trees myself.
Frugal, orchids are technically many genera in one family
I have always struggled with taxonomic vocabulary, despite going to school for Wildlife Biology! No excuses! Keep me on my toes!
Oh Chris!! Amazing and I'll admit, I am a huge bit impartial to these plants!
Love it and thank you for being so thoughtful.
What beautiful orchids!
Lots of beauty there and I'm sure many other lovely plants and people there as well...
Thanks for the awesome pics!
Sorry for being a showoff Frugal
Hi Mike...Thanks, I know what an orchid lover you are. There are some beauties over there, I tell you...orchids AND people.
Hi Laura! Don't see you post much these days, I know how busy you are...Thanks for the compliments! There are Euphorbia milii and the Thai hybrids everywhere over there too, here are some...
No hard feelings:) I'm here to learn!
Thanks for the pics, they're gorgeous! I've had orchids for many years now, and appreciate seeing familiar "faces" in a more natural setting than I can provide.
