Croton Stem Cuttings

dbohJune 13, 2013

Does anyone know when in the season it becomes too late to make a stem cutting for a croton? I took one cutting on Mother's Day, and it looks like it's taken root.

When I researched how to take a cutting, it said to do this in spring. I wanted to do a second one, but I'd like to make sure it's not too late to start one now.

Thanks, I'm in the U.S. Midwest, if that matters.
