Sago palm question

tamela_star(Zone 7)July 23, 2013

I have heard of some sago palms being hardy up to zone 7. I got one from Lowe's yesterday, and I would like to grow it outdoors all year if possible. If not I would bring it in. I live in zone 8a. Is it okay to plant it in the ground?

Have you tried asking on the tree forum? There's also a palm forum. Are there different species? If so and if you don't know the species, it may make that question harder to answer, if some are more hardy than others.

Who can use 'if' in a sentence more times than that?
