Nice colors, it's a form of Croton (botanically, it's a Codaeum) beware the sap, it's a type of Euphorbia).

Will need great drainage, lots of water & the strongest light you've got to keep that color. If not enough light, it'll simply go all green.

If you're buying from a nursery, why doesn't the plant have a label or an ID from the nursery? I don't believe a professional nursery should be selling no ID plants.

Have you asked THEM for an ID & suggested one needs it to learn proper care? You've paid them for the plant, pls. ask them to ID things in future & get your money's worth.

Then pls. ask for someone else. Perhaps remind the nursery if they don't know what it is, how can they advise customers on proper care? How do they expect you to learn appropriate care for it?

Perhaps suggest if you can't get the bare minimum info. from them, you'll need to try other nurseries.

Pls. increase its exposure to direct sun gradually.

You're welcome, nice plant, enjoy!
