it looks like Dracena Plant
Am I wrong ?
i recently acquired this plant from a friend it looks cool in this IKEA pot (it got whole and drain well)
is this another Dracena ?
can i have ID
The top plant is not a Dracaena but a Yucca. Maybe someone will jump in and help with the species name. The little one appears to be a Dracaena marginata.
Your Yucca is elephantipes. Cared for as you would a succulent.
Your second plant could be Dracaena. By chance, is there at bulb nearest the soil? Toni
thanks All, Toni did not get your question ð³!
from my search it seems the 2nd plant is not Dracaena marginata.
I think what Toni is asking if a bulb is buried in the soil. In that case would be a ponytail palm. The way leaves are, makes me think of that plant
First one defo a bog standard Yucca - keep it dry and in the sun.
Looks like a (slightly feed deficient) Drac Marginata to me!
ada70 and Tony, no bulb is buried the stem is what you see and it is connected to the root as is.
the first one is Yucca gloriosa thanks all here is more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yucca_gloriosa
