Gluing enameled metal

marcia1(4/5 WI)January 2, 2014

Picked up pieces of white coated metal..very shiny (maybe appliance..maybe shelf..definitely hard coating.
As no one in my family is going to support me using a welding torch (I am a bit klutzy)..what about gluing pieces together with E6000? I could chip away at the hard coating//or add to that..wrapping very thin wire around the joins and "soak" the wrap in glue.....

I am a drill kind of girl. I suspect that glue won't do the job. There are better experts than me on this site. Hopefully they will respond.
