Jasmine buds not blooming

Mansi21cJuly 15, 2014

Hi all

I have this jasmine plant for 2 months now. I don't know the type of jasmine it is. Why my plant is not blooming? As you see there are buds. But they don't go beyond bud to flowers. Please help me.

It might be lack of potassium causing the buds to abort/not form fully.
Try a foliar feed for flowering/fruiting plants for the short term then switch to a slow-release fertiliser with a higher K ratio.

Good luck!

Were the 'buds' on the original cutting or have they grown since you propagated it? They do appear to be only on the older growth. I can't see them very clearly but I am wondering if they have in fact already flowered and you are see the sepals of the former bloom?
