New cutting, old ID problem

fandog(6a)July 16, 2013

Anyone know what this is? Also, it wilted in the heat on the ride home - any advice on how to revive it?

The growing tip appears different than a pothos.

Looks like a Dieffenbachia or Aglaonema. If you soak it in water for a while it should revive. They're easy to strike as a cutting.

I agree, Dieffenbachia.

I too am wondering if your Dieff perked up. Toni

It perked up a little bit. Leaves feel much firmer, but some leaves may have been too damaged. No roots yet.
