help me identify this plant

It has very dark green leaves. Its structure is similar to a bromeliad or perhaps a dracaena but the leaves are much wider and thicker. You water it from the top. The 4" container only says that it's a tropical plant.

Or perhaps it says tropical foliage. I don't remember. I don't have it here with me. It's not a flowering plant.

The dark green leaves have a glossy appearance and are solid.

It sounds to me like its could be a bromeliad. They come in all different colors and shapes. If you can post a picuture of it that would help identify.

Could you perhaps say the leaf shape & whether their growth is alternate or not? It's just not enough info so far, sorry.
