I like these. I pulled some tin can lids out of my recycling the other day thinking I could use them for something. (I have the kind of can opener that makes edges that are not sharp). Inever thought of garden markers even tho I made some hifi ones out of switch plates. I'm eager to make some can cover ones now!

these are so cute. thanks for the ideas. btw, idk how the permanent marker will hold up in the weather. however, i did a wooden sign a couple years back and put a couple coats of acrylic sealer over it. still looks great

Love this idea. I used the lids from my canning jars after I used them instead of throwing them away. Just used Krylon spray paint. Thanks for the idea!
