Hoping for an ID on my plant...

fish_crzy(6)August 2, 2013

I have a plant that I could use an ID on. I need to prune it back as it is getting gangly, but not sure about the correct place to prune it. I found this picture on google, but without a name attatched:

Any ideas?

Looks like it might be Synadenium grantii - if so (if it has milky sap) be aware that the sap can be extremely caustic.

Thank you cactusmcharris.. that looks like it might be it. Not the first time i've bought a plant that has poisonous/caustic properties lol. (I also have a firesticks..) I had a feeling it was a euphorbia relative, but couldn't pin down the exact one. I will be careful while pruning :)

And thanks purpleinopp, I guess I had a bit of a brainfart with my link there. xD
