New leaf on Red veined prayer plant

jansy1985(5a)August 26, 2013

Hi All - A new leaf finally opened up on my Red veined prayer plant but it is much lighter in color, doesn't have red veins and is not purple on the bottom like the other leaves. It does fold up during the evening with other leaves and the plant seems happy otherwise.
Is this typical appearance of new leaves on prayer plants - would it slowly transition to normal? If it doesn't look right, I'd appreciate any pointers towards what I may be doing wrong.

Thanks in advance!

It is placed under a floor lamp with a 100W bulb. I'll try moving it to a brighter area. Thanks!
