Pots

I don't know if these are considered junk, but my husband says they were. I rescued these three pots out of the plastic recycle bins where I usually get my wintersowing jugs. The two round pots were a whitish color before and the long rectangular one was a faded terra cotta with green buildup that took lots of scrubbing to get off. I painted them espresso brown over the weekend and am very happy with how they turned out. I figure I probably saved close to $30 bucks by rescuing them and not purchasing new ones. It took two cans of spray paint, which probaby lowers my overall savings to about $20.

Yeah, not a thing wrong with them, not broken or chipped anywhere. I even found a 35 gallon black trash can with lid once! Really happy with how the planters turned out.

Beautiful. Did you use a plastic paint or regular spray paint?

You Scored !!! I was wondering what you used to paint them with .

I used Krylon Plasticoat for a few pots and they peeled after a short while.

They turned out like new! Saved a wad of money. What are you going to put in them?
