Epiphyllums

Who else has the obsession?

Im getting ridiculous with this! i currently have 6 and 4 more on the way! They're quite massive plants as well.

Its a sad day when you sell and give away plants you have multiples for to clear room for giant jungle cactus's lol.

Anyone else have the epi itch?

As you can see your not alone, grrr24000 :)

I too absolutely love epiphyllums....although I have never actually witnessed a bloom. Only through pictures and a video or two. I purchased my first epi hybrid mid winter this year, it was in terrible shape so I took a cutting for insurance. Might not see blooms for another couple years. Supposedly red/fuschia blooms. If I do get any more, it will be epi ackermanii or a hybrid with very unusual coloring like the overpriced ones on logees.

Oh yes I'm with you. I love them. I currently have 1 that Ive grown from a cutting and a Ric Rac that is getting pretty large. I haven't had blooms yet. I'm sure a bloom would just send me into straight buying frenzy!

I am fighting this itch with all my might...lol...not working too well.
I bought my first epi this spring and it has grown tremendously!
So...it hit me I purchased a few cuttings, then I bought a few
ric rac cuttings and these have taken off too! Notice I didn't mention
all the christmas and easter cactus!
I've looked at all the wonderful colors of epi and I don't know how
much longer I can resist especially with how well these grow for me.

I have been buying several cuttings on Ebay, I love them !
Also interested in the Rat Tail Cactus, Easter Cactus and
