Just a few pieces of glass I drilled with a Dremel and a diamond bit. No pressure applied only its own weight. It drilled dry (no water or oil). The holes are all in the center.
THANK YOU, Robert! I never had the nerve to try drilling glass, and knowing you did it easily and 'dry' really is a good tip. I'll remember if I do it, not to apply pressure and let the drill bit do its job.
Cool! I'm glad someone was willing to be a guinea pig. This could open up a lot of possibilities.
Thank you so much for letting us know about drilling glass with your Dremel. I have a Dremel but I bought a diamond drill bit for my regular drill. Your way sounds easier. I plan to try my hand at making a tiered candy dish. I have all the parts and now I need the nerve to try drilling the dishes. - Marylee
Great idea. We have a Dremel but DH used his other drill with a diamond bit. Thanks for the info!!
thank you Robert!
I have not been on here in some time. But, now I think I will be HOOKED again!!
Nice job Robert!!
I have not tried drilling w/o oil. I drilled 14 holes one day (doing some Christmas gifts), and did not break anything!!! Love the diamond bits!!!!
