Help identifying vegetable

courtney_856856October 16, 2012

I think that it is a gourd, but am not sure. I planted butternut squash (which I know it isn't), spaghetti squash, gourds, and other vegetables. It is on a vine and there are about 10 growing. When am I supposed to pick them?

I think this looks like a loofa, a gourd. This one perhaps is already over ripe, not sure if it is some yallow variety.
