curly spider plant from seed?

eaksqueak(PA 6a)September 11, 2013

I've learned from this forum that spider plants lose their variegation when grown from seed. Does anyone know if the curly leafed 'Bonnie' variety also loses its curliness when grown from seed? A solid green curly spider plant would be cool.

I fully expect that plants with such unusual physical characteristics are asexually propagated. Many, many of our favorite plants come from "sports " (mutations), and must be vegetatively reproduced forever and ever.
