Most I have seen are indoor or container. Does anyone have pictures of their outdoor fairy gardens?
I posted both of mine. Do a search.
I posted a picture of my wheelbarrow Fairy Garden for you, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the GJ page and do a search for Fairy Garden, you will see tons of links. Be sure to click on Luvs2click's link...she's the QUEEN of fairy gardens. They are tons of fun to do and just plain cute. Have fun with yours!
adorable thanks for sharing
This is the one my sister and I made for our mother.
One more picture
DD took my computer with her on vaca. She is back now. Here are mine, one at a time. This one is on my front porch. The moss got too much sun, the ONE hour!!
This one is on the back patio. I do not suppose the tree will come back. It has been a long winter!
Our version of a Hobbit Hole. It never got its shingles before winter..we will see if this spring it can happen.
They are all very nice, thanks for the inspiration!
Do you guys have any recommendations for a ground cover to use for mine that can take full sun?
Miniature Thyme should work as well as creeping Jenny. Just a word of caution with the Creeping Jenny...once established, it grows fast!
Enjoyed seeing everyone fairy gardens. They are so cute, I made one a few years ago for GD. Need to do one for myself now! Ya'll have inspired me!
Love it!! I am so mad at myself. I came across a barn etc scene meant as part of a Christmas town. I passed on it when I found parts missing. DUMB!! I will be regretting it all summer.
