Five Dollar Chairs

smickerdoodleMay 25, 2009

What do you do with a couple of five dollar chairs, some sand pails, some terra cotta pots, and a few left over flowers? Well you make garden art of course. The chairs I bought at the Resale Store in Ann Arbor. I made the stepping stone. The sand pails were dollar clearances at Michaels. The terra cotta pots were sitting on a shelf in the studio. And the flowers were some left over annuals from another project.

It looks very pretty! The chairs look like they are in great shape. I really like the red sand pails with the stark white of the chairs - always a winning combination! But I am curious to see the top of the "table" because I bet you mosaiced it with stained glass! Any thought of mosaicing the clay pots too? It is a very inviting resting spot!

Micki, nice place to come with glass of iced whatever & plan your next project! I think that is your studio. The blue is pretty too. Very patriotic setting! The red white & blue come through again!! Great combination! Jan

Micki You did good. I also was thinking about some of your pretty colored glass glued to the terre cotta planters. Nice little place to sip you morning coffee.
