Planted toolboxes

luvs2clickJune 6, 2012

Getting ready for my show this weekend, so have been taking lots of pictures. I gathered and planted a bunch of rusty toolboxes and other junk - lunch boxes, dish drainers, boots, etc. The toolboxes have been growing for about a month and have really filled out! Lots more pictures at my flickr.com photo site linked at the bottom of this post.

Here is a link that might be useful: Lots more photos

Beautiful !! All they kept saying about my rainboots was "I'll have to use "so and sos" old boots and make me some. I just said, " Yes, it'll keep it out of the landfills" Oh,I did sell a child's crock planted with succulents. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do well.

Thanks! I hear that a lot too, Kim! They even ask me how to do it. I make the shoes $10 a pr. and usually there are enough people who can't resist them to move them all. I get them for free (curb shopping) or people give them to me or sometimes $1.00 at garage sales. The chickens are all out of my flower beds, so no cost there.

At a recent show, one lady had a sign nestled in the middle of her creations. It said, *YES YOU CAN!" then in small print underneath. 'But will you?' Dunno if it helped move stuff but it sure got lots of chuckles & comments:)
