Wandering Jew plant care over winter

lee_englishNovember 1, 2008

Hi, I live in Atlanta and have several large buckets of wondering jews that I'd like to keep. Last year, I brought them in, but I don't have the space to do that this year with so many.

My plants are now on my front, oovered porch on the sevel level. Must I bring these in? If I leave them outside, what care is recommended for their vitality?

Thanks, everyone. Happy planting!!

In zone 7, you'll need to bring them in (I brought mine in about a week ago - when temps were close to 40°F over-night). The foliage burns and dies back readily with cold temps, and a good freeze will kill the roots in the container.

Is there any way you could make/purchase a tiered plant rack? Could you hang them from the ceiling, near windows?
