I'm happy ! It went from this --->
to This ---->
It's cloudy out -- but it really sparkles in the sun . I have lots more bottles to add :)
cool and love your flamingoes did you paint them like that?
Very nice! I have an old stump that we left about 5 feet high when we took down a tree and I want to do the same thing. What did you use for your spikes? I was going to use rebar pieces.
Love the red bottles too :)
Is that a lave ear bottle I see near the top?
The flamingo in the picture is beaded -- the rest of them in the row are painted as a giraffe,a zebra,military & a clown fish .
I used cut up brazing rods for the spikes. They're sturdier than I thought ! -- and lastly , I don't know what a lave ear bottle is ! LOL
Sorry - that should read lavender. This stupid iPhone likes to guess what you are typing And autocorrect for you.
Wow that came out great!! Also how did you hang the plates on the fence?
Lavender !! LOL .... I thought you knew some fancy type of bottle ! I have 4 squiggle shaped bottles from the Goodwill - 2 are blue, one is purple & one is turquoise .
They're marked Ikea on the bottom. The plates are just hung with nails in the fence. They've lasted 2 years now !
Yay! You did it! Once you got that drill 'loose!' Looks like a 'bottle tree' & very colorful! You should be happy! TFS! Jeanne S.
So how do the nails attach to the plates? That would work really well for me since I seem to have started a glass flower factory!!
You've got an awesome collection of colored bottles...so many different ones! Your bottle tree is looking great!
You did a really nice job on the beaded flamingo, toomuchglass! Your bottle tree is marvelous, and so colorful! Where did you find the red bottles?
