I took child's hairdresser toy and panted it in faux copper then planted it.
A little spooky, but cute idea
I think it is very Romanesque. What fun!!!
Very cool!! Jan
Ooh! I've got one of those! I've since cut off the top of her head. Just haven't had a chance to paint her yet.
Mine has eyes that open and close.
Yours looks great!
Kathy, we must have similar quirky ideas! I just planted a baby doll with Irish moss last Thursday. I painted the doll with hammered bronze spray paint. I'll post a picture when it stops raining :)
I've been looking for something like that for years, never thought to look at toys though.I want one to plant some grass in ,the grass looks like blonde hair to me.Guess I better make a trip to the goodwill toy section.
I remember awhile back we were all looking for dolls
to make statues to 'bronze'. I started one but never
Impressive! Gotta look for a doll
These types of planters are very in vogue right now. You did a great job with the painting!
At this very moment I have a cobalt blue head waiting for the top to be cut. I have a huge red spike that I got on clearance waiting to go in. I got the head from my local medical supply place. It is a model for a CPAP machine.
Oh, I like that. Great idea!!
