What type of Sans?

birdsnbloomsNovember 24, 2012

Anyone happen to know 1. if this plant is a Sansevieria and 2. its species????

An online friend emailed today..we got to talking about Sans. She has one called Sans Walking. It's beautiful!

I sent her a pic of mine, thinking it was the same as hers, but she said it didn't look like Walking..she asked if it could be Agave.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks, Toni

Hi Toni,

Quick visit here from an Internet cafe. Yes, I think that is a Sans. indeed. Hard to say which, tho' you could try posting & asking same at Sans. forum. Perhaps someone there can suggest a specific name.

Am guessing that Sans. Walking is really a Walking Sans., used to refer to some styles of Sans. which grow their pups on stilts as if to 'walk' away from parent plant. If you search for Sans. pinguicula, that may yield some pix of pups on stilts to show you (I no longer have the one used to have like this).
