Squirrel lawn damage - only the new portion .

chester_grant(6)March 18, 2011

Squirrels have dug up about 50% of my front lawn....however they have only scratched up the area where I reseeded last year. Any suggestions as to why the older more established portion remained untouched?

I suspect you might have rototilled the new area and the squirrels found it easier digging.
