Where to place a norfolk island pine?

sunnydog1994November 18, 2013

Hi I have a norfolk island pine and would like to know what window is best? I have it in a east window now and could move it to a south window if that would be better. What do you think?

Hello Sunny,

A very bright, unobstructed east will work as well as south.
However, what's more important is temperature.
Which room is cooler?

A hot, dry room can brown leaf fronds. Toni

I agree with Toni. Keep it in a cool position. Mine is in an east window and doing fine there. Actually it also gets some light from a south window as well, so I am sure either is fine, as long as it is pretty cool.
