Sad little plant
I found this at home depot today- in a mixed "cactus planter" that contained several dead crispy succulents and two remaining live stalks of this plant. I am decidedly NOT a succulent person (I kill them, but after reading this forum for awhile, I realize a lot of that is because of soil choice.) but figured I could at least try. I got them to sell it to me for a dollar. The soil in the planter was covered in course gravel that had actually been glued together and to the pot, so I had to pull all this gummy gravel out piece by piece to even get the plant out. Gross. Who does that? Anyway...Anyone know what this is, and what kind of shape you think it's in? Any suggestions on pruning/potting? I just threw it in some soil/bark/perilite that I had already mixed. Not a final potting, but better than what it was in. I haven't watered it yet...should I? Again, I'm a succulent-killer, so I'm afraid.
Also, I picked these up off the floor from a really neat plant. Anyone know what it is and if it will root?
