My first attempt at painting a discarded dish that I curb shopped. I will make a tripod to hold it up. It will be given to my son in law. He's an avid hunter so I'm hoping he will like it
OOPS!!! Didn't know it was loading the pic on it's side!!!!
Wow!! That looks amazing! You did a great job! I'm sure your son in law will love it.
You did a great job. I'm sure the gift will be one that's treasured.
The brilliant color and silhouette are fabulous. I bet he'll love it. Find more and you could make a fortune selling them :)
Beautiful!! Your son should be thrilled. TFS Jan
Very gorgeous thing!
I have a dish and want to paint it (I don't have any experience in painting :) )
What paint did you use to be able to keep it outdoor?
I just want to create "sun" to keep in my garden, but not sure what paint to buy.
Cool! That's really fancy.
@briergardener: when I made mine, I sprayed it first with a primer then used regular acrylic paints. Then I sealed it with a spray seal suited for outdoor use.
I made mine about 9 years ago and it's still bright and colorful.
