Aeration holes not filling in

chincerMay 13, 2014

I just got this lawn with the house and did a spring treatment, dethatched and limed, aerated and overseeded and fertilized.

I aerated 3 weeks ago and the grass has come back lush and green, except for a few areas where the aeration holes have not even filled in.

Do I need to lime these small areas more? It has been wet lately as well. Thanks for any help.

Are you adding lime in response to a soil test?

Most people aerate so they will have holes in the soil. Why did you aerate?

You might have soil issues if the holes did not all fill in evenly.
