A trimmer from the 70s brand?

fyzxmanMarch 18, 2010

To those that knew of many trimmer brands from the 70s. Here is a challenging question. I recall that back in the 70's a shop had a unique green weed trimmer. It had a carb and gas tank built into the tubular handle. It had a shroud I think that looked more like a mower deck (not sure if I recall that right). The engine sat on the shroud. Does anyone out there know what brand of trimmer this is? Do you know of anyone that might still have one? Someone help me recall what the brand is at least. :-) Thanks, fyzxman

I remember having one and the grass shield was also the muffler. I believe it was a Homelite
