Difference in coils? both V series and F series

twmattox(5 IN)April 17, 2013

So, I have a couple different Lawn-Boys I am working on. Both need new coils. One is a V and the other is an F(compliance from post '83). The stickers on the deck are long gone...

My question is: Is there a difference in all the different coils offered for each?

A "V" can use a 684048, 684049, 99-1152, 99-2911, or 99-2916. Is one of these "better" than the others?

A compliance "F" can use a 683080, 682702, or 683215. Again, is one "better" than the others?

You may just check availability. Would the latest # be the best? Who can say.
