Centipede sod roots

How long does it take for centipede sod to root? Or any sod for that matter, im going on a week now and very little of it is rooting.

A week might be a bit too early depending upon your watering regime. But while you are lifting sod pieces you might as well peer underneath to see if and how the roots are growing; there should be many white roots looking to find a foothold in the ground below. Also check that there is enough moisture in the ground to tempt those roots to step down for a drink.
