Honda HRM 215 mower

rogerdrainMay 13, 2013

We ran our mower very low or out of oil last week and it died. When we added oil, we were able to get it started for a short time, but then it died again. Haven't been able to get it running since. What can/should we do next?

Are you handy and have a good amount of tools?

I'm pretty sure there's nothing left in that engine but if you possess the know how to disassemble/repair an engine it may be fun for you. Plus I would like to see (and I'm sure a few others) what an oil starved 15-20 year old gxv140 looked like inside!

Just found a pretty complete engine assy (cylimdr, piston. Rings, rod, head) for about $170 shipped.
